saturday 9:00am - 12:00pmycap provides food to 13 emergency food pantries strategically located throughout yamhill county. these pantries provide a variety of fresh and shelf-stable groceries to low-income families and individuals. each food box contains a 3-5 day supply of food. emergency food pantries are open different days and times. each food pantry serves a certain geographic area.getting a food box is easy, but you must meet the income eligibility guidelines. you can receive other benefits, such as food stamps, and still receive a food box. if you need food, simply visit the emergency food pantry in your community. you will be asked to provide your name, address, and number of people in your household.ycap also provides food to four soup kitchens in the county: two in mcminnville and two in newberg. these kitchens cook full, hot, nutritious meals from scratch. there is no sign-in or questions asked at the soup kitchens. everyone who needs a meal is welcome.
